Mount Ararat is a majestic and iconic peak located in Eastern Turkey near the border with Armenia. As the tallest mountain in Turkey, it holds a significant place in both physical and cultural landscapes. Here are some key facts and information about Mount Ararat: Geographical Characteristics: Mount Ararat is a compound volcano consisting of two major peaks - Greater Ararat and Lesser Ararat. Greater Ararat, the higher of the two, stands at an impressive 5,137 meters (16,854 feet) tall. Its prominence makes it a visually striking feature of the surrounding region. Climbing Expeditions Ararat: Mount Ararat Climbing is a popular destination for experienced climbers and mountaineers seeking a challenging ascent. The climb offers adventurers an opportunity to experience stunning landscapes and panoramic views from its peak. Tour Plan

• Day 1:
  We can meet at Van, Agri or Igdir Airports. You can choose which airport do you prefer. We meet at the airport of your choosing, then transfer to a comfortable hotel in Dogubayazit where we stay the night.
• Day 2:
  After breakfast, we go to Mount Ararat /Cevirme Village at 2200m by minibus. Our baggage and skis are carried by horses. Then, we walk up to camp 1 at 2800m (2-3 hours). Tea and food will be ready for us. We stay the night at Camp1 (we can expect a minimum -10°C during the night).
• Day 3:
  Summit Day. Before leaving the camp, we need to get our duffel bags ready inside the tents. The duffel bags will be directly brought down to camp 1. We have breakfast in the middle of the night, then start the ascent. After skiing for 6 or 8 hours, we finally reach the summit with a breath-taking panoramic view over Turkey, iran and Armenia. (Minimum -30°C at the top). We descend directly to car meeting point, where our driver will meet us to take us back to Dogubayazit city. We stay the night at the hotel.
• Day 4:
  Breakfast at the hotel. Later we will take you to the airport for your returning flight. End of your Ararat trekking tour.
